What we offer

Rumah Rūḥ curates interior pieces with a story; one-of-a-kind objects that carry the traces of time, the hand of the maker, and the soul of tradition.

Each piece is personally sourced by us from around the world, guided by heritage, intuition, and a deep appreciation for objects with presence.

Because of the nature of our collection, every item is unique and may show its own history, character, and signs of age.

Product Information

We take care to present each piece as accurately as possible through photography and description.

However, customers acknowledge that our collection consists of vintage, antique, and handmade items. As a result, pieces may show natural signs of age, including wear, patina, repairs, scratches, dents, cracks, stains, or other imperfections.

These characteristics are not considered defects but part of the authenticity and story of each object.

Colours, textures, and proportions may also vary slightly due to screen settings and the natural nature of the materials.

We encourage customers to review all details carefully before purchasing, and we are always happy to provide additional information or imagery upon request.

Product Use & Care

Many of our pieces are decorative in nature and crafted from natural, aged, or handmade materials.

This means certain items may require additional care or preparation before practical use. For example:

• pots, vessels, or planters may not be fully waterproof;
• natural materials may respond to moisture, light, or temperature changes;
• handmade finishes may evolve over time.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, we do not guarantee watertight or functional suitability for direct water use.

We recommend using inner containers, liners, or protective solutions where needed.

Responsibility for appropriate use and care lies with the customer.

Availability

All items are subject to availability.

As each piece is unique, an item may become unavailable even if it is still visible on the website.

A purchase is only confirmed once full payment has been received and acknowledged by Rumah Rūḥ.

Ordering Process

Orders are placed via direct inquiry through the product page.

After your request, we will confirm availability and share:

• product pricing
• shipping quotation
• payment instructions
• estimated delivery information

Orders are processed once payment has been received in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are stated in EUR unless otherwise specified.

Shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, or additional charges are not included unless clearly stated.

Accepted payment methods are shared during the ordering process.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders in case of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or unforeseen circumstances.

Shipping & Delivery

Rumah Rūḥ currently ships within European countries only.

Shipping costs are calculated based on size, weight, destination, and delivery requirements.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to external factors beyond our control, including carrier delays, customs procedures, or weather conditions.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

Ownership, Risk & Delivery

Ownership of the item transfers upon full payment.

However, risk of loss or damage remains with Rumah Rūḥ until the order has been delivered to the provided delivery address.

We carefully package each piece to ensure safe transport and may use insured shipping for fragile or high-value items where appropriate.

In cases where an uninsured shipping method is explicitly requested by the customer, Rumah Rūḥ cannot be held responsible for loss or damage occurring during transport.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are expected to:

• review all product information carefully before purchase
• understand the nature of vintage, antique, and handmade pieces
• handle items appropriately after delivery
• provide accurate shipping and contact details

Any misuse, improper handling, or alteration after delivery is the responsibility of the customer.

Right of Withdrawal & Returns

Customers within the European Union have the right to return their order within 14 days of receiving it, without providing a reason.

To exercise this right, customers must notify Rumah Rūḥ in writing within this period.

Items should be returned in the same condition as received, including original packaging where reasonably possible.

Customers may be liable for any reduction in value if the item shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except where the return concerns:

• an incorrect item
• a confirmed transport damage claim
• or another issue for which Rumah Rūḥ is responsible

If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, customers must notify Rumah Rūḥ within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of the item, packaging, and issue.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• custom sourced items
• personalized orders
• made-to-order pieces
• items reserved or altered specifically upon request

Complaints Procedure

If something is not as expected, please contact us at info@rumahruh.com as soon as possible.

Please include your order details, photographs (if applicable), and a clear description of the issue.

We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe and find a fair and appropriate solution.

Sourcing & Custom Requests

We offer sourcing services upon request, depending on availability and scope.

Each request is handled individually, and timelines or pricing may vary depending on the project.

Collaborations

We welcome collaborations with interior designers, stylists, creatives, and collectors.

Each collaboration may be subject to separate agreements depending on scope and project requirements.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Rumah Rūḥ website, including photography, text, branding, styling, logos, and visual identity, remains the intellectual property of Rumah Rūḥ unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Rumah Rūḥ is not liable for:

• indirect or consequential damages
• natural ageing or changes in materials over time
• misuse, improper care, or restoration after purchase
• delays or damages caused by third-party carriers

Liability is limited to the purchase value of the relevant item.

Legal Validity

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain fully in force.

Failure to enforce any part of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.

Privacy

We use customer information solely for order processing, communication, and delivery purposes.

Personal data is never sold to third parties.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes will be handled by the competent court in the Netherlands.

Acceptance of terms and conditions

All website users are required to be aware of, and to agree with, all of the above terms and conditions. By placing an order with Rumah Rūḥ, the consumer is asked to accept our terms and conditions.
